Community Outreach

Sharing Our Passion
As a member-driven non-profit, we seek to share our love of geology, paleontology and lapidary arts with the community. We set up public displays, give demonstrations, provide educational resources to teachers, offer workshops, and more!

Recent Community projects include:

• Providing mineral sample kits to local schools

• Setting up an interactive exhibit and geology-based art program at the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science

• Offering wire wrapping workshops

• Talking about local geology at fairs

• Bringing speakers from around the country and around the corner to our public meetings

• Getting donated specimens into the hands of museums and new collectors
